Music Kits were always an interesting part of Counter-Strike and for the longest time, we were deprived of new music kits, while they are not essential to the game they add a fun element for the players.
The CS2 update released on the 20th of August 2024 addresses a few issues that have been persistent with the game for a while now along with adding new Music Kits to the game. While there are still a plethora of issues with the game in the performance department, with every update, the developers are eliminating them. The latest update also fixes the audio glitch that players with CPUs having efficiency cores were facing along with a bug that causes the game to stutter at the end of rounds.

The highlight of the update was the “The Masterminds 2” Music Kit, the prequel of which was quite popular among the players during the time of its release. Just like its predecessor, the kit comes with a standard and StatTrak version which comes at a significant premium.
This update follows the steps Valve has taken to eliminate input automations which has divided the community causing the new music kit to go under the radar as there is a massive outcry for changes.
