ESL FACEIT Group has confirmed that DreamHack Dallas and IEM Dallas, are returning to the city of Dallas in 2025.
The events will take place at the Key Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center from May 23rd to 25th. The 2024 DreamHack Dallas event has been a huge success, with over 55,000 attendees from all over the United States and the world at large, making it the biggest DreamHack festival so far. The event had a wide range of attractions, including esports tournaments, immersive LAN parties, captivating cosplay competitions, and much more. The applications for the 2025 event are now open for content creators who would like to participate.
IEM Dallas is going to be a high-stakes Counter-Strike tournament with the top 16 teams competing against each other for the title. The prize pool details remain unannounced, though it is said to provide highly competitive competition and worthwhile rewards.
The group stage will commence on May 19th followed by the playoffs on May 23rd. IEM Dallas is a part of the Intel Grand Slam, which offers teams a whole year to look forward to huge $1 million prize pools by securing multiple ESL event victories.
North America remains a key market for ESL FACEIT Group. In November, the organization selected Raleigh, North Carolina, as the host city for an ESL One Dota 2 event in 2025. This marks the first ESL One event to be held in the United States in six years.
