ESL has unveiled its revenue-sharing program for Counter-Strike 2 teams, pledging over $11 million annually for both 2025 and 2026. This initiative centers around the “CS2 Ecosystem Agreement,” a voluntary framework outlining the commitments and responsibilities of teams participating in this new revenue and profit-sharing model. Any team can join this program simply by signing and submitting the agreement to ESL, as it’s a non-exclusive arrangement.
The substantial $11 million annual investment is strategically allocated across three key areas. The largest portion, a significant $7.5 million, will be distributed throughout ESL’s seven events scheduled for 2025. This encompasses $3.7 million in traditional prize money and an additional $3.8 million through the Club Rewards program, available to all participating teams.
Furthermore, teams that commit to the Ecosystem Agreement will be eligible for the Annual Club Incentive, a year-end bonus totaling $2.95 million in 2025. This bonus is generated by ESL sharing 10% of its revenue and 25% of its profits from its top-tier events.
Finally, the Intel Grand Slam remains a separate opportunity, offering teams a chance to win $1 million by achieving victory in three EPT Masters events and one Championship event, such as Katowice or Cologne.
