Eternal Fire has booked their spot in Spoken Arena eliminating FaZe Clan from IEM Katowice. Powered by jottAAA and XANTARES, Eternal Fire breezed past FaZe in Anubis while outlasting them in Nuke after struggling for 47 rounds.

Starting with a quick A site rush, Eternal Fire kicked off their map pick as FaZe failed to contain the Turkish side. While XANTARES had little impact in the first half, MAJ3R and jotAAA did much of the heavy lifting which ended up being enough as FaZe only managed a single round to their name in the first half. While hopes were dim, FaZe did manage to win the pistol round in the second half but with slim chances of a comeback, EF let FaZe have the second round and hit them with a full buy which was just enough to close the map without letting it slip any further. With a rating of 1.93, MAJ3R did not let Eternal Fire feel the absence of XANTARES on the server as they made quick work of FaZe Clan.

Swift A hit by FaZe saw them win the pistol round but quickly gave up the lead in the following round as Eternal Fire converted their force buy. EF went 3-1 up before FaZe could get on the board again, that was the back of a moment of brilliance from Karrigan and broky. Eternal Fire’s domination continued until the final round when a patient backstabs from rain saw him open up the A site and get an ace while doing it as FaZe walked into the next half with a 9-3 deficit. FaZe made a stunning comeback, to push the game to OT. FaZe and EF went toe to toe for 3 OTs before Eternal Fire outclassed to win 3 rounds in 3rd OT which FaZe failed to come back as Eternal Fire booked their spot in Spodek.
