Fluxo has officially announced the addition of Matheus “mlhzin” Marçola to their active roster while benching Nicks. Mlhzin was previously playing with MIBR Academy for more than one year. With the Academy team, Mlhzin has played in several tournaments with a decent rating.
Previously, the Brazilian CS2 team changed its roster two months ago when they added Allan “history” Lawrenz to its active roster by benching Romeu “zevy” Rocco. Even though Fluxo didn’t qualify for IEM Dallas which is definitely a setback for the team, by changing the roster they are looking for another comeback.
Internally we understood that we needed another aggressive player in the squad so that we could seek our best version in the game. I would like to thank @nicksfps
Marcos “tacitus” Castilho, Fluxo Head Coach
for the time we spent together here at Fx. The kind of player who is the first to arrive and the last to leave on a daily basis, does what needs to be done and seeks to improve at all times. Unfortunately, we didn’t find the ideal fit, but I will always be rooting for you.
The head coach explained that they needed another aggressive player to extract the full potential of the team and that’s the reason for signing Mlhzin.
In BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, Fluxo managed to get into one of the American RMR contenders. However, they got eliminated by a 0-3 score against the other heavyweights. It was a tough time for the Brazilian team and now they are trying again to get back in the competition.
Matheus “mlhzin” Marçola started his career with GODSENT and later joined the MIBR Academy in the previous year. While, Nicollas “nicks” Polonio joined Fluxo in May 2024 and during his tenure, Fluxo won a few tournaments such as CCT SA and others. However, the head coach is now bullish with the new 19-year-old signing.
Right now the Fluxo team looks like this:
- Andrei “arT” Piovezan
- Kayke “kye” Bertolucci
- Allan “history” Lawrenz
- Guilherme “piriajr” Barbosa
- Matheus “mlhzin” Marçola
- Marcos “tacitus” Castilho (coach)
- Romeu “zevy” Rocco (benched)
- Nicollas “nicks” Polonio (benched)
