FURIA has officially announced the addition of Danil “molodoy” Golubenko to their Counter-Strike 2 roster.
The addition of the 20-year-old to the FURIA CS2 roster was confirmed on April 11th via a post on the Brazilian organization’s X (formerly Twitter) handle.
The news comes just ahead of the Austin Major roster lock, with the former AMKAL AWPer replacing Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes on the FURIA lineup.
In a follow-up announcement on FURIA’s X handle, FURIA’s current AWPer Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo confirms his decision to transition to the team’s Rifler IGL role.
“We are very focused on making FURIA a super competitive team and my mission here is to do that in the best way I can,” Toledo said in a statement, “These last two years I tried to do that as captain/AWP of the team, and now I will do it as captain only, and who knows, in the future I will do it in other ways, too.”
With molodoy’s addition, the new FURIA roster will include the following players:
- Yuri “yuurih” Santos
- Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato
- Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
- Felipe “skullz” Medeiros
- Danil “molodoy” Golubenko
- Sid “sidde” Macedo (coach)
Fans will be able to catch this new lineup in action in the upcoming PGL Astana event, which is scheduled to kick off May 10. 2025.
