Game 1: Dust2 (Pick: Liquid, Win: Liquid, Final Score: 16-13)

The series started with a nail-biter with the first game on Dust2. Despite grabbing the pistol round on the CT side, FURIA failed to gain any momentum as a force-buy from Liquid on the following round shut them down. FURIA tried to retaliate with a force-buy of their own but failed to do so as Liquid extended their lead to 5-1 before giving up another round. At the end of the half, Liquid came out on top with an 8-4 lead.

FURIA dominated the T-side at the BLAST Premier, starting strong with a pistol-round victory before grabbing six consecutive rounds, seizing the lead with the scoreboard showing 11-8 in their favor. Liquid regained composure in the crucial moment and found themselves in the driver’s seat once again after taking four rounds in a row and standing on match point. A fast A-split from FURIA enabled them to take the game into overtime.

Team Liquid showcased their strength in overtime, conceding only one round to FURIA in the latter half before securing the win with a 16-13 scoreline.

Roland “ultimate” Tomkowiak took the top spot in the leaderboard by putting up an impressive K/D of 26/15.

Game 2: Nuke (Pick: FURIA, Win: Liquid, Final Score: 13-4)

Despite Nuke being FURIA’s map pick, it turned into a one-sided affair as Liquid took control. On their CT side, Liquid only conceded two rounds in the first half, winning every round after losing the pistol and the anti-eco.

FURIA managed to win the pistol round once again on their CT side, but could only add one more round to their tally before Liquid wrapped up the match with a dominant 13-4 victory.

Ultimate topped the leaderboard with an impressive 117.6 ADR, delivering 20 kills while only suffering 7 deaths.
