HEROIC’s run at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 comes to an end after a heartbreaking 0-2 defeat against Complexity. Below, we have included everything that you need to know about the showdown that took place between the two teams.

Game 1: Anubis (Pick: HEROIC, Win: Complexity, Final Score: 13-5)
Complexity kicked off the pistol round of Anubis on the right foot as they grabbed the first-round win on the CT side. After converting the follow-up anti-eco round, Complexity managed to snatch the first buy-round as well, which enabled them to get a 4-0 lead over their opposition before HEROIC could put up their first point on the board. Although HEROIC managed to win a few rounds, Complexity remained dominant throughout the half, finishing with a comfortable 9-3 lead.
A pistol-round win from HEROIC on their CT side kept them in the game for a while longer as they secured the follow-up round as well. However, they were able to secure no further round as Complexity closed the game with a 13-5 score in their favor.
Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski showcased an impressive 2.0 KD, finishing the game at the top of the scoreboard.
Game 2: Ancient (Pick: Complexity, Win: Complexity, Final Score: 13-11)
After Complexity won the pistol round on the CT side of Ancient, a failed force-buy attempt from HEROIC in the second round allowed Complexity to secure an early 3-0 lead. However, Heroic bounced back in the first buy-round and regained their composure, winning the majority of the remaining rounds. By the end of the first half, the game was tied at 6-6.
A pistol-round win on the CT side enabled HEROIC to find a 9-6 lead over Complexity after a failed force-buy attempt from the latter. The two teams then traded a couple of rounds back and forth as the scoreboard showed an 11-8 lead in favor of HEROIC. However, Complexity mounted an impressive comeback, winning consecutive rounds and breaking HEROIC’s economy. Ultimately, Complexity clinched the game with a narrow 13-11 victory.
EliGE dominated the leaderboard with a 2.0 KD once again, rocking 28 kills with only 14 deaths and an ADR of 108.2.
