Justin ‘jks’ Savage is set to return to competitive Counter-Strike once again after spending months on the bench after he was replaced by nexa on G2, according to a report.
jks, considered to be one of the most mechanically gifted players of this generation struggled to find a team. He spent most of his time juggling between teams without finding a side to call home for an extended period. However, the latest reports suggest that Liquid may be turning their eye towards him amidst their roster overhaul.
The Aussie, despite not finding a home has few of the most prestigious trophies to his name. Having won IEM Katowice with FaZe Clan, he secured a move to G2, where he went out to win IEM Katowice once again followed by Blast World Finals and IEM Cologne upon which he was benched for tactical reasons.
It was oddly surprising for the community to find no teams linked to JKS after he was open to a roster change back in Feb of 2024. Fast forward to the first player break of the season, Team Liquid is making massive roster changes and jks happens to be on their radar.
The North American IGL crisis is still affecting how teams will shape up and after nitr0’s speculated move back to Liquid falling through Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken will take over as in-game leader. With Casper “cadiaN” Møller benched and Felipe “skullz” Medeiros on his way to Furia, jks will most likely take up the roles of the latter.
