G2 star Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, who’s undoubtedly one of the best AWPers in the competitive Counter-Strike 2 scene, will miss his team’s first game in the upcoming BLAST Spring Finals against Team Spirit as a result of his passport being delayed.
As per a recent HLTV report, m0NESY’s passport is currently delayed in transit and is now expected to arrive by mid-day on Thursday, which means that the 19-year-old will unfortunately have to skip G2’s debut match in the tournament against Team Spirit.
It goes without saying that m0NESY’s absence will be a significant blow to G2 in their opening game of the BLAST Spring Finals.
Coach Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas is expected to step in and replace the star AWPer, and the team’s lineup will include the following players:
- Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač
- Nikola “NiKo” Kovač
- Rasmus ” HooXi” Nielsen (in-game leader)
- Nemanja “nexa” Isaković
- Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas (stand-in)
