Map 1: Anceint; Pick: NiP; Winner: NiP

NiP got off to a great start posting a quick 3-0 lead over the Asian side before they got one on the board. The Europan mix, despite undergoing a plethora of changes managed to put up a great display on their offense where the Mongolz only picked up 3 rounds ending the half with a 9-3 scoreline.

Moving to their defense, NiP fell flat against a well-coordinated Mongolz side who now carried the moment on their offense. Thanks to their massive lead in the first half, NiP’s disastrous defense was just enough to push the game to OT.

NiP managed to find their form once again and they steamrolled the Asian side without letting any rounds slide as the game closed with a 16-12 scoreline.

Map 2: Mirage; Pick: MongolZ; Winner: MongolZ

MongolZ after putting up a good fight on NiP’s map pick managed to come into the second map in hot form. The Asian side cruised through NiP’s defense and managed to pick up a 6-0 lead before NiP managed to a point on the board. Upon which, both teams traded rounds until the half concluded with an 8-4 scoreline favoring the EU side.

Mongolz managed to pick up the pistol round before NiP force buy saw the momentum shift which they used to pick up 2 more rounds closing the gap between the two teams but that was all they managed as Mongolz put together a string of rounds to win the map with a 13-7 scoreline.

Map 3: Nuke; Pick: Decider; Winner: MongolZ

The deciding map saw NiP winning the pistol round before MongolZ got back on board once again and put together a string of 6 rounds before NiP managed to see their 3rd round as MongolZ managed one more before closing the half 7-5.

MongolZ started strong on the CT side and won 3 rounds in a row off the back of a pistol round victory before NiP picked up a round but after that, it was all MongolZ, and the Asian side wiped the floor closing the map with a 13-6 scoreline and winning the Yalla Compass 2024.
