  • Overpass was left over

Game 1: Mirage (Pick: MOUZ, Win: MOUZ, Final Score: 13-1)

The first half of Mirage seemed pretty one-sided as MOUZ left no room for mistakes for their enemies to capitalize on. In fact, despite a couple of extremely close rounds, Cloud9 could only manage to win a single round on the T-side before proceeding to the second half of the game.

The second pistol round of the game was also won by MOUZ, which enabled them to take the first map of the series with a score of 13-1 in their favor.

Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek reigned at the top of the scoreboard with 17 kills and only 6 deaths.

Game 2: Ancient (Pick: Cloud9, Win: , Final Score: )

Cloud9 regained their composure heading into Ancient as they kicked off their map pick with a strong 4-0 lead before MOUZ managed to put up their first round on the board. Cloud9 could widen their lead to 7-1 before MOUZ retaliated and took consecutive rounds to end the half with 5 rounds in their bag.

After grabbing the pistol round in the second half, MOUZ managed to equalize the game 7-7 after an extremely slim post-plant victory in the 14th round. It wasn’t before long that MOUZ picked up their pace once again, winning back-to-back rounds to close out the game 13-7 in their favor.

Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás ruled the scoreboard on the second map with 17 kills and 10 deaths.

With this victory, MOUZ  is set to face off against FaZe in the semi-finals of the BLAST Premier World Final 2023 on December 16, 2023, at 15:00 UTC.
