Valve has shipped out a new update for Counter-Strike 2 on April 1, 2025, and there’s a whole lot to explore in this new patch.
The new CS2 update brings with it tons of exciting content to the competitive shooter, including a new case, four new skin collections, map changes, and a couple of new additions to the Armory Pass.
Without further ado, let’s check out everything you need to know about the April 1 CS2 update.
New Case
The latest CS2 update has brought with it the new ‘Fever Case’ to CS2. This case is exclusive to Armory Pass holders, and can’t be obtained through regular drops or ‘Care Packages’. Armory Pass owners can choose to redeem the Fever Case in exchange for two stars.
The Fever Case includes 17 cosmetic finishes for the various guns in CS2, alongside 24 possible skins for the Survival Knife, Paracord Knife, Skeleton Knife, or the Nomad Knife.
New Skin Collections
Alongside the Fever Case, an additional four new skin collections have been added to CS2 via the Spring Cleaning update. These new skin collections include:
- The Ascent Collection
- The Boreal Collection
- The Radiant Collection
- The Train 2025 Collection
With the exception of the Train 2025 Collection, which is exclusive to Armory Pass holders, skins from the rest of the collections can be obtained by anyone via weekly care packages.
