The PGL Bucharest 2025 Closed Qualifier teams have been finalized. We have some lesser-known teams that are truly capable of giving the big dawgs a run for their money, and this event might be the best place for them to show their talents to the world.
The 32 teams locked in for the Closed Qualifiers will be divided into four double-elimination best-of-three groups. The four winners from each group will compete in a single-elimination B03 playoff followed by a B05 grand final.
With a blend of tier 2 and low tier 1 teams taking part in the event, the difference in the level of teams is not big enough for the top sides to run away with the matches which might be the reason this event produces a few exciting matches.
Given the blend of teams, this will present an amazing opportunity for young talents to show the best teams what they are capable of. With the likes of Spirit Academy and NAVI Juniors taking part, players of all leagues and ages will be at the event making the fight for the $1.25 million prize pool worth watching.
