The RMRs across all regions have concluded and we have the final list of teams that will be going to Shanghai. Group B from Europe being the final one left behind some of the promising teams in the world but the majority of the top sides will be fighting for the big prize in Shanghai later this month.
9Pandas being one of the most promising teams could not make it past Ninjas in Pyjamas as the band of young Swedes just had Team Spirit on their way to Shanghai. Despite taking a map away from them, domination on Mirage in the 3rd map of the series sealed their fate in this RMR. However a loss to Team Spirit for the 7th place decider ended their RMR run.
Arguably an expected upset, following the loss of their star AWPer dev1ce, Astralis walked into the RMR with the least expectations on their shoulder. Their loss to Passion UA means no Major for cadiaN and his men and at the same time, Passion will have a chance to prove their mettle to the world.
Team Spirit had the shakiest start to their RMR with losses which pushed them to the final day for a shot at being in Shanghai. Having bested Sashi and NiP, despite their best efforts, donk and co. are on their way to Shanghai. While their qualification was tested to its extreme, it is not surprising to anyone that they have made it through.
