Vitality is in the Grand Finals of IEM Katowice 2025, dominating an inform MongolZ side across two maps as they emerge as the favorites to win the title. ZyWoo and ropz have found their form and along with the supporting case, Vitality now possesses the firepower to go toe to with either NAVI or Spirit.

It was a perfect start for Vitality on Mirage, what seemed to be the best map for MongolZ in the tournament, going 5-0 up. Having started on the back foot, Mongolz got back on the board in the 5th round, winning 5 rounds before Vitality won the final two to close the first half with a narrow lead. Continuing the domination in the second half, Vitality went 11-5 before MongolZ could start mounting their comeback which did not happen. The final few rounds of the map saw both teams trading rounds as Vitality closed Mirage with a dominant 13-7 scoreline.

Despite starting their defense with a pistol victory, VItality started their dominance as soon as the guns came out. For playing with the timings, Vitality managed to make quick work of MongolZ’s timings which left them little room to defend against well-executed attacks from Vitality. By the end half, Vitality walked away with an 8-4 as MongolZ got completely wiped out. Off the back of a pistol win, Vitality went 12-4 up early on, upon which MongolZ pulled in a few rounds but Vitality closed the map after a while, shutting the door on a comeback, winning the map 13-9.
