CSGO Hits 1 Million Concurrent Players Every Day for Two Months Straight

While many other popular multiplayer titles are struggling to retain their player counts amid the COVID 19 pandemic due to the declining esports scenes, CSGO has experienced a major boost in its player base over the past few months.

For the past two months, CSGO has witnessed over 1 million peak players concurrently tuning in to the game every single day. This, needless to say, is a remarkable achievement for any online multiplayer game.

For instance, as evident from the Steam charts, no other Steam game has been able to hit the mark of 1 million concurrent players over the past month.

The credit for this primarily goes to the release of the Operation Broken Fang in December 2020, which brought in a plethora of new and returning players to the competitive shooter. The Operation introduced a plethora of new content to CSGO, and the player base reciprocated the love by shattering records.
