CSGO Star ‘Friberg’ Tests Positive For COVID-19

After taking a toll on the competitive CSGO scene, the COVID-19 pandemic is starting to affect the professional players.

Swedish Counter-Strike legend Adam ‘Friberg’ Friberg has tested positive for coronavirus. The Dignitas star had complained of sickness and inability to sleep to his Twitter followers before confirming the fact on his handle.

The Swedish rifler stated that he had been sick for a week and that his test has come back positive.

The King of Banana will now be undergoing necessary precautions and medications to combat the virus and complete his recovery as soon as possible, with the 29-year-old already set to sit out the Elisa Invitational #2 for Dignitas.

The North American organization seems to have opted to play with Head Coach Halvor ‘vENdetta’ Gulestol for now, with the team currently a map down against Lyngsby Vikings in a best-of-3 matchup.
