Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt in collaboration with Wildfire Warriors organised a 2-day charity stream to raise funds for horrific Australian wildfire. Wildlife Warriors, originally called the Steve Irwin Conservation Foundation was established by Steve Irwin and his wife Terri Irwin for protection of threatened or endangered wildlife.
Veteran Frenchman raised more than $12,000 in a couple of days through his live-stream broadcasted on Twitch. He had, however, set a goal of $22,000 although raising $12,000 is no easy matter. He celebrated various milestone in the hilarious course of action including – performing an Australian ‘shoey’, shaving his facial hair, streaming without glasses and streaming in a cosplay outfit among others.
These gestures from the gaming and esports community are critically applauded by the world. Approximately one billion animals died in the wildfire while several endangered species reached extinction stage, according to reports.
