CSGO Update Reveals 2023 Service Medal

CS: GO’s 2023 Service Medal is not drastically different from the ones from previous years. It’s unlocked at level 40 when players gain Global General status. You can level up in CS:GO by playing any game mode, winning or losing makes no difference to the amount of experience you gain.

Service Medals are given to CS:GO players annually. Indicating your consistent participation over the course of a year, these tokens can be displayed during games.

In order to receive the 2023 Service Medal, players must reset their ranks once they reach the aforementioned level.

However, there is something that they need to keep an eye out for in particular. As the 2022 badge won’t be made accessible until January 1, players will have to wait a few days. The 2023 Service Medal will be awarded to those who reset their rank before the end of the year.

Today’s update highlights changes that bring Boyard and Chalice maps to Official matchmaking in Wingman mode. While Blagai, Cascade, and Breach have been removed from official matchmaking.

As mentioned above, the 2023 service medal will be made available from January 1, 2023, 00:00 AM IST onwards. Further items from the IEM : Rio Major are now on sale, 75% off the original price.
