BIG Clan on Twitter have announced the addition of Nicklas “gade” Gade to their CSGO division. The 26year-old Dane will now feature in the German side’s starting lineup of which the team is yet to decide the composition they will like to field in their upcoming fixtures.
The addition of Nicklas comes after a series of mid-table finishes as BIG struggled to put up a better showing across their last outings, including the FLASHPOINT Season 3 and at the recently concluded IEM Cologne 2021. Post the latter, the German side have decided to reconsider their options going forward in the second half of 2021 and seem to have expanded to a 6 man roster.
Before signing up for BIG, Gade represented HYENAS, as the Danish CSGO roster comprising of Philip “aizy” Aistrup, Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye, Frederik “Fessor” Sørensen and Johannes “b0RUP” Borup. The team later decided to call it quits post the retirement of Kjaerbye earlier in July.
Although BIG is yet to reveal the future composition of their CSGO division, Gade is expected to lead the team alongside Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz due to the former’s experience as an in-game leader during his time at North and HYENAS.
In a press release, Gade stated,
BIG will most likely debut with Gade at the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 14, scheduled to start from August 16.
BIG now have:
- Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz
- Tizian “tiziaN” Feldbusch
- Ismailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş
- Nils “k1to” Gruhne
- Florian “syrsoN” Rische
- Nicklas “gade” Gade
- Dustin “DuDe” Großmann (Head coach)
