Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand has been unveiled by TYLOO as their sixth player for their active Counter Strike : Global Offensive division and is set to earn a direct spot on the main roster although the latter is yet to be determined by the Chinese organization.
BnTeT was traded off to Gen.G in November 2019 as the final piece to the Damian “daps” Steele led puzzle consisting of the ex-Cloud9 trio and Sam “s0m” Oh. Soon after the inception, BnTeT found quick success at the DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020 where they outed FURIA Esports in the Grand Finals on LAN. Gen.G later seemed to have entered a downward spiral in their overall performance where the team were only able to finish first at the ESL One : Road to Rio RMR Event although crashing out of the FLASHPOINT Season 1 to HAVU Gaming.
Following the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Gen.G decided to transfer list their roster citing a challenging period for professional CS back then in North America, and would keep tabs on how the scene would develop going forward.
Starting afresh on EXTREMUM with the former 100 Thieves quartet, BnTeT joined the Russian-Oceanic side a year later marking his arrival in a different continent and started to participate in mid-tier tournaments to snipe consistency despite the fact that Aaron “AZR” Ward and his troops barely got a chance to enjoy their honeymoon period which saw them face defeat in the hands of middling teams.
Moving further, EXTREMUM failed to qualify for the PGL CS:GO Major Stockholm which indeed forced the organization to bench their roster as the major qualification was their primary goal if they were to continue competing.
How the overall situation panned out for BnTeT is undoubtedly depressing but the Indonesian star stands yet another chance at his former home, TYLOO which he joined from Recca in 2017.
At this moment, it is quite unsure to determine whom BnTeT would replace at TYLOO but we would surely amend the same once further clarity is achieved. Do stay tuned with us at TalkEsport.
