According to Jared ‘DeKay’ Lewis, Gen.G are looking to bring in Hansel ‘BnTeT’ Ferdinand from Chinese organisation TYLOO. The report further speculates that BnTeT’s TYLOO contract is up for expiry at the end of the year and that an offer has been tabled, with a clear picture yet to emerge.
Gen.G have already made headlines in the Esports scene and is currently ranked seventh in the list of most valued Esports organisations. Their foray into the CSGO scene saw them pick up Cloud9 trio Timothy ‘autimatic’ Ta, Damian ‘daps’ Steele and Kenneth ‘koosta’ Suen. Sam ‘s0m’ Oh was soon announced to have joined in from Envy, with the organisation opting to field Hunter ‘SicK’ Mims until their fifth is confirmed.
BnTeT is widely regarded as one of the best, if not the best, talents within the Asian CSGO scene and has substantiated this claim with his performances on the server, boasting an HLTV Rating of 1.20 over 2019 for TYLOO.
TYLOO have been a mixed bag in 2019 but seem have come good of late, winning ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND 2019 Asia while also reaching the semi-finals at CSGO Asia Championships 2019, a tournament where the Chinese organisation trumped the likes of G2 and mibr, managing to take a map off of mousesports as well.
While the rumour persists, BnTeT is set to play NEST Pro League 2019 and the Champions Cup Finals with TYLOO this month, with the potential of also representing his current organisation at WESG finals if they manage to qualify.
