According to a report from neLendirekt at 1pv.fr, Cloud9 might be close to acquire Erick “Xeppaa” Bach from Chaos Esports Club.
During the roster build, Henry ‘HenryG’ Greer, General Manager of Cloud9 CSGO division in an “HLTV.org Confirmed episode” had revealed his plans to bring a sixth player on board. Today a potential move has been reported by 1pv.fr where the North American Organization has been linked to Erick “Xeppaa” Bach from Chaos Esports Club.
Xeppaa has been a free agent since 4th December 2020 after his team decided to part its ways with the players as the “Ongoing Corona Pandemic had been a smite for them which hindered their ability to provide support.” Previously linked to FURIA, it seems that the talks have broken between the Brazilian side and Xeppaa’s former side Chaos. Xeppaa at Chaos averaged with a rating of 1.17 during his 8 months stint with the team. The 20 yo North American had steered his side to a grand finale win over Triumph at the DreamHack Masters Winter North America.
If this deal goes through, Cloud9 will have:
- Alex “ALEX” McMeekin
- William “mezii” Merriman
- Özgür “woxic” Eker
- Patrick “es3tag” Hansen
- Ricky “floppy” Kemery
- Erick “Xeppaa” Bach
