Brazilian CS:GO Pro, Marcelo ‘coldzera’ David said on his live stream that he will NOT be joining his former teammates for a supposed ‘Last Dance’. Coldzera was part of the Luminosity-SK core that won 2 back to back Majors in 2016. First it was MLG Columbus 2016 and then ESL ONE: Cologne the same year, to cement their position as one of the greatest rosters in CS:GO.
During their most dominant run, the core of Fallen, fer and coldzera was the most feared trio in CS:GO, fallen with his deadly AWP and IGL-ing, fer with his relentless CT side aggression and coldzera with the ever-reliable clutching and anchoring ability. Coldzera won back to back Major MVP medals in both the majors his side won, and was the first one to have 2 Major MVPs to his name, which was later equalled by Nicolai ‘dev1ce’ Reedtz of Astralis (Currently NiP).
In late 2019, coldzera transferred to FaZe Clan to play alongside his friend Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovac. It was his first international team and he started off well with a BLAST Pro Series win in Copenhagen 2019. But that would be the only trophy he would get with them. He was subsequently benched in the second half of 2021, after NiKo left and karrigan rejoined FaZe. He had a brief stint standing in with Complexity for 2 months but that didnt amount to anything.
It was rumored by Jaxon that the SK core would reunite for one last time, but coldzera has denied the rumours. On his live stream he said that he moved from Serbia to Portugal and hopes to play on a tier 1 team again which is why he will stay in Europe.
It is still possible that the reunion might happen, with rumours of Liquid changing their roster it is likely that fallen, fer and fnx may still reunite without coldzera but that remains to be seen.
