OFFICIAL: Coldzera Signs for Complexity

After his 2-year stint came to an end with FaZe Clan, the Brazilian signed for Complexity Gaming as a free agent and will be part of the active roster from the get-go. This confirms an earlier report from various sources.

Graham ‘messioso’ Pitt, the CEO of Complexity announced via twitter that Marcelo ‘coldzera’ David will stay with the roster for BLAST Premier Fall Groups, the PGL Stockholm Major, and beyond as Kristian ‘k0nfig’ Wienecke continues to recover from his injury that shattered his wrist right before ESL Pro League Season 14.

The CEO also said the move was made keeping in mind the hectic tournament schedule the Squad faces in the coming months and the all-important Major in Stockholm. K0nfig’s recovery may take longer than usual and rushing his return when he is not at his 100% may cause troubles for them in the long run.

Having already used a stand-in in the form of ‘NaTpSaphiX’, the team did not want a turbulent ever-changing roster up until the major and have settled for the 2-time Major winner. Even if ‘k0nfig’ returns by the time the Major arrives, he won’t be part of the active roster and ‘coldzera’ will take his place.

He makes his debut on 24th September against his ex-team FaZe Clan in BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2021.

The addition of cold means CoL has the following roster:

  • Benjamin “blameF” Bremer
  • Valentin “poizon” Vasilev
  • Justin “jks” Savage
  • Patrick “es3tag” Hansen
  • Marcelo “coldzera” David
  • Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu (coach)
  • Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke (medical leave)
