CSGO Fan Names His Newborn “FalleN”; Pro Reacts

Gabriel Toledo, aka FalleN, is widely acknowledged as the godfather of Brazilian Counter-Strike, having led the most successful team from the region for many years. However, all his accolades fall short in the face of what he has just received from a fan.

One of FalleN’s fans admired him to the point that he named his baby boy after the legendary sniper. Matheus Araujo, who hails from Brazil, chose to name his son born in 2021 is named Arthur Fallen de Oliveira Araujo, which Toledo did not acknowledge until today.

FalleN, through a Tweet, acknowledged Araujo’s love for him and introspected upon his position as a celebrity and what it meant for his fans and the Brazilian Counter-Strike scene in general.

“My responsibility is very big and I will do my best to have a heart as big as my responsibility,” FalleN wrote on Twitter. “Thank you, gentlemen, let’s go ahead trying to be the best version of ourselves, trying to be good for us and for the world, within our limitations.”

FalleN inspired an entire generation of aspiring Counter-Strike players when he built an unchanged team from the region that went on to win some of the highest honours in the game’s history. Notably, SK Gaming in 2017 is still hailed as one of the most historical rosters of the game, and he was in the driving seat when it reached the apex of the CSGO mountain.

His most recent stint came under the Imperial banner, labelled by the fans as “One Last Dance”. The team performed far below expectations and bombed out of the IEM Rio Major, failing to win any matches there. An emotional farewell for him, but he still promised to continue for another year at least before he hung up his mouse.
