You can’t possibly be a CSGO fan if you’re unfamiliar with the name of Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev. The Na’Vi star is renowned across the competitive scene as a Counter-Strike legend and is often regarded by fans as the greatest player to have ever touched the game.
Another aspect of CSGO where s1mple outshines every other professional player is consistency. The 23-year-old has repeatedly proven how consistent of a player he is over the years, but now we have the stats to show for it.
After taking a glance at s1mple’s HLTV profile and comparing his stats from 2019 and 2020, we can safely conclude that s1mple is one of the if not the most consistent player in CSGO of all time.
Not only does the Ukrainian rock a rating of 1.30 on both years, but his kills per round (KPR) count has also not deteriorated even a bit and stands strong at 0.85. On the other hand, his surviving percent in a round has increased from 40.5% to 41.4%, which goes along to show that he has improved as a player.

While his assists per round have taken a small hit from 0.10 to 0.09, it can be explained due to his increased efficiency with the AWP. His AWP kills per round have increased from 0.30 to 0.38, which is a significant increase when considered in the highest levels of competitive play.
S1mple is currently one of the top contenders to become the #1 CSGO player of 2020. He was crowned the first place in 2018 by HLTV and lost to Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut in 2019. He was also awarded the PC player of the year award in 2018.
