With a total of eighteen ranks to climb, CSGO players are constantly looking for room to improve in the title till they reach the prestigious rank of Global Elite, which is the peak rank in CSGO.
However, ranking up in CSGO can be quite difficult. It turns out that most of the CSGO player base are in fact, quite far away from Global Elite and more towards the middle of the competitive spectrum.

A recent study by Leetify has revealed the CSGO rank distribution in 2021, and the results might shock you.
As it turns out, the rank of Gold Nova Master holds the highest number of CSGO players among all the ranks with a total of 8.65% of the player base. Gold Nova 3 is also not far behind, boasting about 8.60% of the total CSGO players.
Unsurprisingly though, Global Elite holds the least percentage of the CSGO player base, with only 1.04% players having what it takes to reach there.
