It is possible that players may have spent millions on a new package within 24 hours of its release according to popular skin collector and data miner, TDM_Heyzeus. According to him, the float.db database indicates that at least 5.5 Million Anubis cases were opened which points towards $11 Million dollars.
TDM_Heyzeus utilized the mathematical probability of opening a Covert skin, which stands at 1/3906, in their computations. The Anubis Collection Package contains one such skin of exceptional rarity, the M4A4 | Eye of Horus. Next, they obtained data on the existing number of M4A4 | Eye of Horus skins within the game from the reputable CSGO skin database, float.db.
Using this number, the player multiplied it by the likelihood of obtaining one Eye of Horus skin. As a result, they estimated that around 1.9 million cases were opened within the first 24 hours.
