A new update has been shipped to CSGO on July 28th and while it’s not the huge update that fans were expecting to see, it does bring some interesting improvements to Calavera and the game’s overall stability.
If you haven’t played the map Calavera yet, we strongly suggest you do. The recently released wingman map is definitely one of the better 2v2 maps we’ve seen in the game in a while. It features a single bomb site, but with multiple entry points that the CTs have to hold down. Not to mention that it’s insanely fun when played with a friend.
The changes implemented to Calavera in this update include adding more contrast to the door texture to make it stand out from its surroundings and moving the ladder at T-stairs slightly to make going up more smooth. There are also some new fixes made to the pixel gaps and clipping in the map.
Other than the Calavera changes, today’s update also brings some stability improvements to the title that may potentially make the game smoother.
