ELEAGUE Day 2: Luminosity stays strong at the top, Renegades following up

The ELEAUE got a very warm welcome from the community in  the first day, even though with some unnecessary ‘trance’ in the production, they were able to create a good stadium of excitement and proceeded to the next day of the tournament’s first season this year.

The second day of the ELEAGUE Season 1 started with the match between Renegades and Team Liquid.

The first map was Mirage and Liquid pulled the first pistol round quite comfortably with the help of nitr0’s triple kill and were on a lead of 9-1. But then SpunJ managed to get some kills and somehow settled the score at 11-4 in favor of Liquid in the halftime. Renegades in the CT Side managed to win the second pistol round by holding off the site and then yam and jks just became unstoppable. Renegades won all the clutch situations as 1v1, 2v4 which gave them a boost and they made a comeback winning the map 16-14.

The second map of the game was Train and Renegades started off by winning the pistol round and then getting a good start by leading the map 7-0. But then Liquid didn’t leave their hopes and pulled off some great rounds and ended the halftime 10-5 in the favor of Renegades. In the second pistol round of the map adren helped Liquid to get the win and then liquid started to comeback and soon the score was tied 10-10. But then yam pulled off a surprisingly great ninja diffuse and then Renegades somehow took the score to 16-10.

The second game was between Cloud9 and Luminosity Gaming. Both of the teams were unbeaten till now in the ELEAGUE.

The first map that was decided was Dust2. Cloud9 started as T Side in the first half and pulled the first pistol round with the help of slemmy which made them take a lead of 2-0 against the Brazilians. But Luminosity were not left behind and won the third round with their Eco starts and the score was tied at 2-2. Luminosity went on a force buy and managed to get that round. From there Fallen went insane and closed down Cloud9 with a scoreline of 10-5 in the halftime. fer helped Luminosity win the second pistol round by getting a quad kill and then it was a wrap up for the Americans as they lost the first map 16-7.

The second map was Train and Cloud9 managed to win the first pistol round with the help of Stewie2k’s triple kill.But then Luminosity took some great rounds and manged to win the first half with the scoreline of 10-5.But then Liquid came back stronger and manged to win the second pistol round and tied the score to 10-10. But then the Brazilians went insane with Fallen and coldzera taking the map all by themselves and they won six straight rounds to finish off the game at 16-10.

The third game of the ELEAGUE was between Renegades and Cloud9.

The first map of the game was Train. Renegades started off as T Side and won the first pistol round with the help of SpunJ. From there Skadoodle and shroud pulled off some great rounds and managed to win the first half with the scoreline of 9-6. In the second half Cloud9 manged to win the second pistol round on the back of a stellar execute. After this they became unstoppable and won the map quite easily with a scoreline of 16-7.

The second map of the game was Cobblestone. This time n0thing helped Cloud9 to win the first pistol round of the game and they leaded 3-0. But then Renegades managed to pull off some great rounds and ended the first half with a scoreline of 8-7 favoring the Australian side. Cloud9 also won the second pistol round with the help of Skadoodle but despite of that Renegades comeback more stronger and didn’t let them win a single round after that and shutted them down with a scoreline of 16-11.

All the matches on Day 2 of the ELEAGUE Season 1 were exciting and a treat to watch. Luminosity still stays on the top of the table of Group A followed by Cloud9, Renegades and Liquid.
