ESIC banned retchy and 4pack for 5 years due to match-fixing

The ESEA Premier CSGO tournament was under Esports Integrity Commission or ESIC’s radar for a long time due to possible match-fixing behaviors. Last day, ESIC confirmed with a press release, that the two former Rebirth members retchy and 4pack will be banned for breaching ESIC’s Anti-Corruption Code.

retchy, 4pack along with nosraC had already been suspended since 2nd April 2021. While retchy and 4pack received a 5-years ban till 2026, nosraC’s 111 days ban already ended on 22nd July.

The suspension started in April when ESIC found a recording of a conversation among those three players discussing match-fixing plans in ESEA MDL. ESIC also declared that the opposing team’s vek and J0LZ are clear as they didn’t breach the code.
