Report: Evil Geniuses to sign MICHU

According to @PolishLeaks on Twitter, Evil Geniuses might sign Michał “MICHU” Müller to their CSGO division.

EG CSGO are on the verge of making yet another roster change after signing MICHU to their active lineup. This roster change would see Tarik “Tarik” Celik move to the bench after the North American side seem to have hit the wall and are due for a shuffle within the team.

The North American side might soon close in on MICHU, a free agent who most recently played CSGO for Team Envy from Feb – December 2020, with the most notable tournaments being the FLASHPOINT Season 1 & 2. Prior to signing up for Envy, he played under the banner of Virtus Pro for nearly 2 years alongside Janusz ‘Snax’ Pogorzelski and co. Earlier In February, Envy decided to drop their CSGO division amidst the tough economic climate to handle a Counter Strike team in NA.

The 24-year-old Pole was previously linked to OG but the European Mixture instead decided to sign Shahar “flameZ” Shushan as their fifth player. The above report might be one of those possibilities why MICHU didn’t end up joining the former team.

As mentioned above, this would be the second change EG would make as they earlier signed Owen “oBo” Schlatter, in an aftermath of Ethan “Ethan” Arnold leaving the team to pursue his career further in Valorant.
