FaZe Clan on their Twitter have announced the signing of Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken to their CSGO division.
The 21yo Canadian will now feature on FaZe Clan’s active lineup and would replace Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye on the team.
At the end of December, Team Liquid had mutually parted ways with Twistzz upon from where they went on to sign the Brazilian sniper Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo to their roster.
After sitting on FaZe’s bench for nearly a month, Twistzz has finally found himself a new home, here at FaZe Clan where he would get yet another chance to redeem his skills alongside Håvard “rain” Nygaard, Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer, Marcelo “Coldzera” David and Helvijs “broky” Saukants. The former Team Liquid star was adjudged as the 9th best player in 2019 by HLTV.org and 12th in 2018 as well. Under Liquid, he helped his team to secure their first-ever Intel Grand Slam with whopping prize money of $1,000,000USD in their bag after winning the ESL One Cologne 2019.
By signing Russel to the team, FaZe Clan seems to have entered the process of a complete overhaul of their CSGO Division. According to previous reports from TalkEsport and theclutch, Karrigan has been linked to FaZe Clan as the former’s agreement is about to run out at Mousesports in a month’s time. Coldzera through the “TheFlow” podcast even revealed his team’s plans to inculcate a leadership role within, along with favoriting Karrigan to be one of the best Captains present in the scene.
With Twistzz joining FaZe, the team now looks like:
- Håvard “rain” Nygaard
- Marcelo “coldzera” David
- Helvijs “broky” Saukants
- Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer
- Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken
