G2 Esports complete m0NESY signing from Na’Vi Junior

Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez Santiago, CEO of G2 Esports has unveiled the addition of Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov to their active CS:GO division. The ex-Natus Vincere Junior prodigy is expected to replace François “AmaNEk” Delaunay on the main roster, which is yet to be confirmed by the organization.

After a plethora of reports flooded across the second half of 2021, we finally see m0NESY find himself a new home at G2 Esports, a move which was predicted by a majority of the pundits post the conclusion of the PGL CS:GO Stockholm Major where the Nemanja “nexa” Isaković led side were handed defeat at the hands of Na’Vi in the Grand Finals.

G2 Esports have officially entered the roster shuffle towards the 2022 pro season where they surely have signed m0NESY but are yet to headline further changes to transition within the team.

Almost a month ago, a report from 1pv.fr did suggest that G2 were in the race to sign Robin “ropz” Kool and Aleksib “Aleksib” Virolainen which now stands broken as the former Estonian has reunited with his former teammate, Finn “karrigan” Anderson at FaZe Clan although there has been no word around regarding the transfer of the OG’s captain to G2.

With m0NESY on board, G2 Esports will yet again try to fine tune their goals ahead of the 2022 pro season with having nearly missed out championships in the past year most notably the PGL Stockholm Major. With the recent departure of their head coach, Damien “maLeK” Marcel, the German based organization have entered into extensive talks Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam for the head coach role.

m0NESY joined Navi Junior back in January 2020 and has showcased quit an exceptional showing across multiple tournaments and in the European Faceit Premier League which indeed attracted G2 Esports to get him before any team should make their move.
