According to HLTV and 1pv.fr, mousesports are keen on Frederik ‘acoR’ Gyldstrand and Christopher ‘dexter’ Nong. The European organisation are exploring the prospect of adding the two stars to their active lineup, with Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen and Chris ‘chrisJ’ de Jong reportedly giving way.
As far as karrigan is concerned, the mousesports IGL has not yet decided on whether he wishes to extend his contract with the organisation, with his current deal expiring in March, 2021 as the Dane continues to be linked with former home FaZe Clan. In the wake of such rumours, mousesports have decided to explore their options to replace karrigan and are now looking to add Renegades star dexter to take over the IGL duties, should the need arise.
chrisJ, the other person rumoured to be benched, is likely to give way due to performance issues. The hybrid Dutchman has had a below-average 2020, boasting only a 0.91 HLTV Rating across the year. In his stead, mousesports are looking at acoR, who is currently the Primary AWPer for MAD Lions and would cure the AWPing problem that the team has been plaguing the current mousesports roster ever since Ozgur ‘woxic’ Eker was benched.
acoR CSGO
acoR had a fruitful 2020 with MAD Lions, boasting an average HLTV Rating of 1.14 while also proving he can go toe-to-toe with the very best that the scene has to offer (0.99 Rating vs top 5 opponents).
Dexter CSGO
dexter on the other hand, has been a part of the Renegades roster since December, 2019 and has led the Australian lineup to being the best team in Australia, what with the 100 Thieves roster competing in North America.
There is still no update as to whether karrigan has received offers and which team(s) he is considering as an option to join. For chrisJ, his future remains unknown, with the Dutchman spending a lengthy time on the mousesports bench previously as well.
If the moves do go through, mousesports will look something like this:
- Robin ‘ropz’ Kool
- David ‘frozen’ Cernansky
- Aurimas ‘Bymas’ Pipiras
- Frederik ‘acoR’ Gyldstrand
- Christopher ‘dexter’ Nong
