Natus Vincere add sdy for BLAST Spring Final

The 25 year-old Ukrainian will stand-in for Natus Vincere ahead of their BLAST Spring Final campaign.

Natus Vincere have announced the addition of  Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev to their active CS:GO division after excluding their former In-game leader and Major winner Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov.

The Major winning roster under Natus Vincere had lately been facing difficulties in accordance with Boombl4’s nationality and the fact that the latter had been paying taxes to the Russian federation had indeed triggered “reputational risks for the club”.

sdy joins Natus Vincere on a free loan from the inactive roster of MAD Lions who shut down their CS:GO division back in April and had also been a part of Team Spirit before parting ways after a 3-year stint with the same team. The Ukrainian will represent Na’Vi at the upcoming BLAST Spring Final where his performance at the tournament will determine his fate with the team, and whether he will stick to Na’Vi for their future outings or the other way around.

Previously under Spirit, sdy had steered the latter to their first-ever DreamHack Open January 2021 Championship over FPX Esports and a 3-4th place finish at the IEM XV – World Championship.

Whether Viktor continues to play for NAVI in the future depends on his performance in the upcoming tournament. We would like to thank the MAD Lions management and Prodigy Agency for the opportunity.

The BLAST Premier: Spring Finals starts from June 15 onwards till the 19th where sdy will debut against OG in Na’Vi’s opening match-up.

With sdy, Na’Vi are now:

  • Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev
  • Valerii “b1t” Vakhovskiy
  • Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev
  • Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy
  • Denis “electronic” Sharipov
  • Andrii “B1ad3” Gorodenskyi (Head coach)
