CSGO: NIP & Astralis Reportedly Agree on Device Transfer at 586k$

Over the past few months, the future of Danish CSGO Prodigy Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz has been the talk of the town as fans started speculating whether he’d return to the active NIP roster or move on to look for opportunities with other organizations.

However, according to a recent report from Jaxon.gg, it appears that Device might be reuniting with his former roster soon enough.

The report states that Astralis and NIP have finally agreed on a €600,000 transfer price for Device after initial discussions between the two orgs failed due to NIP’s asking fee being too high for the Danish team.

Device has been an inactive member of the NIP roster for about ten months. The 27-year-old AWPer had cited burnout and fatigue as reasons behind his sick leave from the team. However, the star’s recent match history indicates that he has been regularly playing games on FACEIT throughout the past few months.

It’s important to note that Device won’t be able to participate in the next major for Astralis as the rules dictate that teams can’t adjust their roster between the RMR and the Major. This means that should the orgs agree on the transfer, there’s a decent chance that it will be announced once the upcoming major concludes.

Fans will be able to catch NIP taking on Astralis in the first match of EU RMR Group A. The match is scheduled to start on 4th October 2022 at 12:45 UTC.
