According to reports from 1pv.fr and Rush B Media, Evil Geniuses have turned to William “RUSH” Wierzba after they seemed to have failed to negotiate with OG Esports for Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså. Evil Geniuses are currently looking to overhaul their active CS:GO squad with three new players after parting ways with Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz, Owen “oBo” Schlatter and Michał “MICHU” Müller post their early exit from the PGL CS:GO Stockholm Major.
Former Cloud9 trio Timothy “autimatic” Ta, Jake “Stewie2K” Yip and RUSH have been linked to Evil Geniuses and would join the duo of Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte and Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov on the active squad of EG. Coached by Damien “maLeK” Marcel, the team recently showed interest in signing RUSH from his inactive role after being released by Complexity gaming in September 2021. Previously RUSH was shortlisted by Extra Salt for the next iteration of their CS:GO roster after their current one is soon to be acquired by Complexity.
Stewie2K who recently moved to the bench at Team Liquid has also been into extensive talks with EG but most surprisingly is the fact that autimatic from T1 Valorant has too pondered to come out of retirement and once again compete professionally in Counter Strike: Global Offensive. At the moment, we lack clarity upon RUSH’s future whether he would stick to the previous Extra Salt report or make a move to EG and play with his former teammates from Cloud9.
Would EG sign the trio, the ELEAGUE Boston Major Champions would once play under the same roof but this time in different colors. The roster would look like:
- Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte
- Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov
- Timothy “autimatic” Ta
- Jake “Stewie2K” Yip
- William “RUSH” Wierzba
- Damien “maLeK” Marcel (Head coach)
