Team Liquid on Twitter have announced the signing of Josh “oSee” Ohm from team Extra Salt to their active CSGO division and will headline the current roster for the 2022 pro season following the benching of the team’s trio core consisting of FalleN, Michael “Grim” Wince and Jake “Stewie2k” Yip.
After showcasing a striking form across 2021 with an average rating of 1.29 in North America’s Tier 2 Counter Strike: Global Offensive, oSee has finally achieved a breakthrough, paving his way to Team Liquid’s active CSGO squad where he would be taking up the AWP duties and with that being said would replace FalleN in the mentioned role. oSee rose to prominence when he signed up for Cloud9 CSGO in January 2020 and was later acquired by Extra Salt in December as the Los Angeles based team decided to restructure their CSGO division with a European mix.
Undoubtedly, oSee has actively participated and contributed towards every win in Extra Salt’s bag making him the most achieved and up & coming player in the North American scene of Counter Strike. Getting onto a team like Liquid must have already elated the player’s expectations for the future with an opportunity to play with some of the current finest.
While Team Liquid are currently transitioning to a fresh roster ahead of the next season, Nick “nitr0” Cannella and Richard “shox” Papillon have reportedly joined the shenanigans and are expected to feature in Team Liquid’s next iteration. The departing trio of FalleN, Grim, and Stewie2k have been already linked to other projects such as The Last Dance, Complexity, and Evil Geniuses respectively.
With the signing of oSee, Team Liquid now have:
- Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski
- Keith “NAF” Markovic
- Josh “oSee” Ohm
- Eric “adreN” Hoag (Head coach)
- Jake “Stewie2K” Yip (Benched)
- Michael “Grim” Wince (Benched)
