With API and Bungie’s main site down for four days, the Destiny 2 community endured one of the worst weekends in recent memory. The developers did provide an update on the situation, assuring Guardians that the upcoming weekly reset, in addition to hotfix 6.3.0.1, will restore complete functionality.
For the past four days, players who rely on API sites like DIM (Destiny Item Manager) or the accompanying app have been in for a world of hurt.
Furthermore, players should be aware that this year’s Dawning will be issued alongside the weekly reset, giving everyone more victories to work on until Lightfall drops. Therefore, Bungie will shut down its official servers at 8:45 a.m. PDT, 15 minutes before the weekly reset (UTC -8).
Before Dawning arrives with the weekly reset, Bungie’s official support account has announced that the servers will be offline for maintenance.
When will Destiny 2 servers be back up
Below is a rundown that may be used by players to fill in the gaps between matches in their favorite time zones:
- India: 10:15 PM to 10:30 PM // December 13.
- China: 12:45 AM to 1 AM // December 14.
- UK: 5:45 PM to 6 PM // December 13.
- Australia: 2:45 AM to 3 AM // December 14.
- Brazil: 1:45 PM to 2 PM // December 13.
Although the official servers will be offline for a brief period, Bungie will be performing maintenance in the background for another hour after everything comes back online. In light of this, the estimated end time of the maintenance is 10 AM PDT (UTC -8).
Players should be able to begin rearranging their loadouts across all characters as soon as the servers go live due to the fact that all API features are expected to come online with the weekly reset.
