Dignitas in talks with Xizt, friberg and f0rest to build new roster

Dignitas are one of the many organisations that had announced their plans to return into the fold in Counter Strike Global Offensive scene after the Starladder Berlin Major 2019.

Interestingly, no reports had emerged over the ensuing weeks of any impending roster pickups by the North American organisation.

According to Jarek ‘DeKay’ Lewis though, Dignitas are looking to make headlines with their new roster. The organisation is in talks with three of current/former Ninjas in Pyjamas players in an attempt to reunite them under their banner.

The players in question are Adam ‘friberg’ Friberg, Richard ‘Xizt’ Landstorm and Patrik ‘f0rest’ Lundberg.

While Xizt is on the bench at Fnatic, f0rest is currently an active and the last standing member of the OG Ninjas in Pyjamas roster.

Friberg on the other hand, is a free agent, having left Heroic towards the end of August, 2019.

The Swedes are not the only ones named, with the report stating that Dignitas have gone ahead and acquired Hakon ‘hallzerk’ Fjaerli from Nordavind, with the Norwegian youngster likely to take up the role of the primary AWPer for the North American organization.

A fifth is yet to be named but considering the names mentioned, Dignitas are likely to target a player that can speak in the same language as the players already in talks/ acquired.

The aim of Dignitas could be to put together a team with high reputation and good potential, especially with rumours of a franchised super league doing the rounds.

Christopher ‘GeT_RighT’ Alesund is no more a part of Ninjas in Pyjamas and could be another star that Dignitas end up targeting, should they aim at bringing the legendary Swedish brand back together.

Exciting times ahead for the OG NiP fans if this roster indeed takes shape in the coming weeks, albeit under the banner of Dignitas.
