Dota 2: 9pasha and ArsZeeqq leave Virtus.Pro

Virtus.Pro have been one of the most dominating teams in the DOTA PRO Circuit since the past 3 years, but glory at The International has always evaded them.

Despite placing 5th-6th at TI7 and Ti8, Virtus.Pro are not satisfied with their performance, considering the fact that VP have won multiple majors over the past few years, while placing 2nd at a handful of majors.

Placing 9th-12th at The International 2019 was the final straw. After their unsatisfactory performance, Virtus.Pro have made changes to their roster.

Earlier today Virtus.Pro announced that they have parted ways with Pavel “9pasha” Khvastunov and Arseniy “ArsZeeqq” Usov.

Pavel “9pasha” Khvastunov has been part of the VP roster since August 2016 and has won 5 majors under the Virtus.Pro banner while winning many other prestigious events like multiple ESL ONE Events. He has been playing the role of offlane, and is statistically the best offlaner to ever play for Virtus.Pro.

9Pasha has been an integral part of the Virtus.Pro core since well over 3 years, both on and off the field. Known for his in-game skill and humor as well,9 Pasha will be sorely missed.

While this change is devastating, it was much needed, as the team’s results had stagnated and they were in dire need of fresh blood.

9Pasha has joined NatusVincere, with whom he will compete in the 2019-20 DPC season.

Arseniy «ArsZeeqq» Usov, the head coach of Dota 2 roster during DPC 2018/19 season, is to leave Virtus.pro along with 9pasha.HE had joined shortly after TI8 had ended, with VP finishing 5th-6th at the mega event.

Current VP Roster:

  • Roman “RAMZES666”Kushnarev
  • Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko
  • Vladimir “RodjER”Nikogosyan
  • Alexei “Solo”Berezin
  • TBA
