Valve Announces The International 2023 Dates and Venue in Seattle | Dota 2

As the grand finals of the Berlin Major loom, Valve has just announced the dates and venue for TI 12.

For the uninitiated, The International, widely regarded as the biggest tournament in the world of esports, offers prize pools that surpass those of virtually all other competitions in the industry, making it an unparalleled spectacle for both fans and newcomers alike.

Through an announcement video that was shown just before the grand finals of the Berlin Major in front of a live audience, Valve has confirmed that The International 2023 will be taking place in Seattle, Washington, USA.

The International 2023 Venue and Dates

The Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle is set to host The International 2023, with the group stage scheduled to begin on October 14th. The tournament’s main event, featuring the world’s top Dota 2 teams battling for a gigantic prize pool, is slated for October 27th to 29th.

Ticketing information and other finer details for the event haven’t been disclosed by Valve at the time of writing. Fans can check out the announcement video for TI 23 alongside other details in the official blog post.

The International 2023 Battle Pass Release Date

If last year’s Battle Pass release is something to go by, players can expect the TI 2023 Battle Pass to hit the game around mid-September 2022. However, Valve is known to surprise fans with unexpected releases, so take this with a grain of salt.

Fans looking to scratch their itch of competitive Dota 2 before The International arrives can catch the ongoing grand finals of the Berlin Major on the official Twitch channel of ESL Dota 2.
