Dota 2 TI11 Tickets Sold Out in Minutes, Scalpers Resale for Over 3X Price

Valve’s annual DOTA 2 tournament ‘The International’ is the biggest esports event in the world. Featuring gigantic prize pools and some intense DOTA gameplay, the tournament sees millions of avid esports enthusiasts from throughout the world tune into the streams to catch all the action live.

As the popularity of TI reaches new peaks, DOTA fans who look to attend the event in person are facing a tougher time while trying to get their hands on the tickets for the largest DOTA 2 tournament.

The International 11 Ticket

In under 30 minutes since tickets for The International 2022 were put up for sale on Ticketmaster Singapore’s website, every single ticket was sold out. The ticket sale went live at 10:00 AM SGT, with tickets for the Playoffs stage being sold for $88 SGD per day, and those for the finals at $498 SGD.

The tickets for the TI11 playoffs were sold out in only ten minutes, while the ones for the group stages were up for about another twenty minutes before being sold out entirely.

It wasn’t long until tickets for the event started surfacing on consumer marketplaces like Carousell, where the scalpers started reselling them for over thrice the original price.
