As you can already guess, the Bali Major will be taking place in the city of Bali, Indonesia, marking it as the first Dota 2 major to ever take place in the Southeast Asian country. The tournament will have a prize pool of a whopping $500,000, as confirmed by the tournament organizers themselves. It will also have a total of 600 DPC points to offer to the participating teams.
The Dota 2 Bali Major will be organized by IO Esports and EPULZE Gaming. This event marks IO Esports’ debut in organizing a Dota 2 major, making it a significant milestone for the organization. In the past, IO Esports has worked alongside ONE Esports to organize Dota 2 events.
When Is Dota 2 Bali Major Starting?
As revealed in a recent Tweet from IO Esports, the Dota 2 Bali Major will commence on June 29, with the main event scheduled for July 7-9.
