Valve has finally revealed the release date for the highly anticipated Crownfall Act 3 update, but there’s a little twist.
The revelation comes within the Dota 2 client itself, where players can tune into the game’s main menu and see that the release date for Crownfall Act 3 is marked for ‘June 39th’.
This could be a humorous reference to the “Valve time” meme, as the release date for Crownfall Act 3 was marked in the client as “late June?” until today.
From today’s update, it’s safe to assume that the Crownfall Act 3 update will finally hit the Dota 2 servers around July 9, 2024, should there be no further days.
It’s currently unknown what the Crownfall Act 3 “The Frosts of Icewrack” update will bring to the game. Players will likely be able to follow Vengeful Spirit’s story as she explores the frozen lands of Icewrack in her attempt to get revenge on her sister, Queen Imperia. The next Crownfall Act is also expected to introduce new cosmetics, treasures, and other exciting additions to Dota 2.
The second Act of Crownfall was added to Dota 2 on May 22nd, and we were able to aid Skywrath Mage as he traversed the deserts of Druud alongside Axe and Centaur Warruner. The update also brought with it the Crownfall Treasure 3 with a bunch of other cosmetics.
