The highly anticipated Crownfall Act 3 for Dota 2 is finally set to release today, following a brief delay of just over a week from its originally scheduled release at the end of June.
While the exact release date hasn’t been explicitly mentioned by Valve, taking a glance at the in-game client reveals that the release date for Crownfall Act 3 is marked for ‘June 39th’.
The third Act of Crownfall is expected to bring a plethora of new content to the MOBA, including new treasures, cosmetics, and other additions to the game.
Throughout the Crownfall Act 3, players will be able to follow Vengeful Spirit’s story as she explores the frozen lands of Icewrack in her attempt to get revenge on her sister, Queen Imperia. Similar to the previous Acts, players will have to win Dota games to earn tokens and progress through the story.
The second act of Crownfall was added to Dota 2 on May 22nd, where players aided Skywrath Mage as he traversed the deserts of Druud alongside Axe and Centaur Warrunner. This update also introduced Crownfall Treasure 3, packed with a variety of new cosmetics.
