Dota 2 Crownfall Update Brings New Story Event Filled With Rewards, Arcanas, & More

After a long wait, Valve has finally introduced the highly anticipated ‘Crownfall’ event to Dota 2, and it has brought with it a plethora of interesting new content to the MOBA title.

To call the Crownfall event an absolute treasure trove of content would be an understatement. This update doesn’t just sprinkle in a few new cosmetics to the game; it introduces fresh experiences for the players to enjoy. Among these delights is a captivating story-based adventure, inviting Dota 2 players to immerse themselves in a journey alongside Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit.

Dota 2 Crownfall Event: What’s New?

The Crownfall event is a free-to-play story event that players can participate in from the Dota 2 client. The event enables players to embark on an adventure as Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit in their quest to take down the corrupt queen Imperia.

Players can progress through the adventure by playing games of Dota 2 and collecting various ‘Tokens’. Different types of heroes offer different tokens, and certain paths can only be opened using specific tokens.

By participating in this event and progressing the story of the duo, players can earn a bunch of exciting in-game rewards including Treasure Chests, Cosmetics, and even Arcanas.

Dota 2 Crownfall: Arcanas & Cosmetics

The Crownfall update has brought with it two brand-new arcanas to Dota 2 for Vengeful Spirit and Skywrath Mage.

Each Arcana contains two styles that can be unlocked by progressing through the Crownfall’s story event. The Vengeful Spirit Arcana contains an additional style that can only be unlocked by finishing the entire event alongside the side quests.

Dota 2 Crownfall Update: Patch Notes

The Crownfall update hasn’t introduced a gameplay patch to Dota 2, which means that the heroes, items, and map won’t undergo any changes. However, players can see the detailed notes of the Crownfall event by going to the official Dota 2 website.
